Restaurant #7174, located at Old Spanish Trail and Scott Street in the Renaissance Town Center, has been owned by the Bentham Organization since 1998. Surrounded by local businesses and restaurants, it underwent a major renovation in 2018.

DEMOGRAPHICS

The Greater Third Ward is a predominantly African American community (72%), with 16% Hispanic, 5% Caucasian, and 1% Asian residents. Served by HISD, the area also includes charter and private schools, as well as the University of Houston and Texas Southern University.

COMPETITION

The area features major QSRs like KFC, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, and Whataburger, alongside local spots such as American Deli and Juicy Crawfish in the Renaissance Town Center. Ghost kitchens and app-based delivery options have also increased competition in the market.
